Shipping & Delivery Policy

At HMIGUITARS, we are committed to getting your musical instruments into your hands quickly, securely, and reliably. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we ship orders, how long deliveries take, and what you can expect during the process.
1. Order Processing Time
- All orders placed on shop.hmiguitars.com are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays), once payment is confirmed.
- Custom, made-to-order, or personalized instruments may require additional processing time. We’ll notify you of any delays.

3. Shipping Costs & Charges
- Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the package.
- Occasionally, heavy or oversized items may incur additional handling or courier surcharges. In such cases, we will inform you before dispatch.
- For promotional periods (or offers), HMIGUITARS may offer free standard shipping above a certain order value. Such offers will be clearly marked on the site.
4. Dispatch & Tracking
- Once your order is dispatched, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email (or SMS) containing:
- Courier name
- Tracking number
- Estimated delivery date - You can track your shipment directly via the courier’s portal using the tracking number.
- If the status remains “in transit” for longer than the estimated time, please contact us and we’ll help locate the package.
5. Delivery & Signature
- Deliveries require a valid ID proof and signature (or equivalent confirmation) by the recipient.
- In case you’re unavailable at the time of delivery, the courier may attempt re-delivery or leave a delivery attempt slip. Please follow the instructions on the slip or contact the courier to reschedule.
- If a package is undeliverable (wrong address, refusal, etc.), it may be returned to us. In such cases, the return shipping cost may be borne by the customer, unless the error was ours.
6. Customs, Duties & Import Charges (for International Orders)
- For orders shipped internationally, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees assessed in the destination country.
- HMIGUITARS is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance or additional payments required by the local authorities.
- We recommend contacting your country’s customs office for clarity on import charges before placing the order.
7. Damaged or Lost Packages
- Damaged in transit: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or accept with a note, take photos, and notify us within 24 hours. We’ll initiate a claim with the courier and arrange for a replacement or refund.
- Lost or missing packages: If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive it, or if there has been no movement for several days beyond expected delivery, please contact us. We’ll coordinate with the courier and, if the package is confirmed lost, will resend or refund based on internal assessment.
8. Order Cancellation & Changes
- Orders can be canceled or modified only before dispatch. Once your order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
- If you cancel before dispatch, refund (if applicable) will be processed per our Refund Policy(see Return & Cancellation section).
9. Special Cases & Exceptions
- Peak seasons / festivals / sale periods: Delivery times may be longer than usual due to heightened courier volume.
- Remote or hard-to-reach areas: Some regions may not be serviceable by certain couriers; alternate carriers may be used.
- Weather, natural disasters, strikes: Unpredictable events may delay shipments; we appreciate your patience in such cases.
